Vistage Executive Summit with Sean Flaherty

You are invited to join members of Vistage for their next speaker session, led by US Speaker Sean Flaherty on "The Momentum Framework - Leveraging Human-Centric Leadership"

"The Momentum Framework - Leveraging Human-Centric Leadership"

We welcome Sean Flaherty back to Brisbane! As Vistage Australia introduce the Vistage Executive Summit - the one time this year all Vistage members in Queensland are together for a stellar International Speaker!

Sean is no longer a stranger to Brisbane with a whistle stop tour featuring sessions with all my groups in May 2025. He is returning with a more focused version of his last talk which included the principles of the momentum framework. One year on and the need for Human-Centric Leadership is even more essential.

The Momentum Framework

The Momentum Framework connects the intangible business fundamentals like customer trust and loyalty to the profitability of your business, while powerfully aligning your team.

Join fellow leaders to understand how The Momentum Framework will give you a measurable pathway to profit through systematically and purposefully building a culture through the language of Trust, Loyalty, and Advocacy.

  • Reengineer the way you invest in the success of your business, your people and your customers.

  • Amplify and invest powerfully in your culture through language.

  • Assess your team's leadership potential in a paradigm-shifting way.

  • Separate your strategy from your tactics to maximize clarity for your leadership teams.

  • Measure your customer relationships.

  • Diagnose the issues that are standing in your team's way.

  • Empower your teams to purposefully innovate.

  • Equip your team with new tools to assess their performance.

About Sean Flaherty

Sean has been recognized as a top speaker at Vistage in the US every year since being named the New Speaker of the Year in 2019 and has won many, many other awards for his work. Since then, he has had many testimonials from the Vistage community, a few shown below:

Member from my Vistage groups in 2025
I really enjoyed the content and the way it was delivered. The stories you shared helped bring the concepts to life and made it all easy to relate to. I got a lot out of the session and walked away with practical ideas I can apply straight away — both for myself and my team.

George Jansen | Vistage Chair |
Sean held a mirror to my members which helped them think about things like their openness to feedback, accountability, their relationships with customers and colleagues and SO much more. And members left with action steps they can apply, immediately.

Scott Gibbs | Vistage Chair |
If you haven't heard or seen Sean speak, I highly recommend it. I have seen him speak at least 5 different times in the last 3 years, and every time, I learn something new. His understanding of human behaviour and how it applies to leadership, sales, marketing, customer engagement, and employee engagement is world-class. This shouldn't be a surprise because he has studied many world-class thinkers and incorporated their data into his unique and compelling Momentum Framework.

Marc Perilloux | Vistage US Member |
As a Vistage speaker, Sean was exceptional. My only regret is the session could have been an entire semester in an MBA or Exec Leadership program. It’s a deep subject that moves the needle on business while also giving purpose and fulfillment to the team doing the business. It helps explain “the why” exceptionally well.

Sean’s Background

Sean started innovating with software products at 11 years old on his 8-Bit Commodore Vic-20 in the 1980’s and he never stopped. He studied aviation electronics working on F-14 Tomcats in the Navy, molecular genetics at the University of Rochester, and earned an MBA from the Simon School of Business in 2006.

Most of his experience, however, has come from over two decades of working in the trenches with his clients building innovative software products that move, touch, and inspire the world. He is most fortunate to have the privilege of leading the team that is ITX. ITX has built a passionate group of inspired technologists and artists that produce magic every day for their clients.

Sean teaches MBA candidates at the William E. Simon School of Business and speaks to leadership teams around the world on the intersection of innovation, culture, and empathy. He has developed and organized “The Momentum Framework,” a set of contextual models that demonstrate the patterns, context, and language of successful leadership.

His work has led to him earning recognition and accolades such as the 2019 Vistage “New Speaker of the Year” and the 2019 Trust Across America “Top Thought Leader in Trust” awards among many others.

Sean has also many outside interests:

>> Is the father of FOUR amazing adult children.
>> He leaped out of airplanes when he served in the US Navy.
>> He has served barrel-aged craft cocktails around the world from his Nefarious company,
>> He has been recognized as a leading authority on antique jewelry.

And don’t ask about his pets!
