“Maintaining the Human Connection” My Groups’ speaker program for 2026
Multiple award winning speakers for 2026
For those not familiar with the Vistage model our speakers are subject matter experts, not always the “big names"“, but we get plenty of them because they just LOVE talking to our groups.
We finished 2025 with Keith Abraham and his great session on “Unstoppable Velocity” and his focus on Goals Achievement. We build on that with our two-day goals retreat on the stunning North Stradbroke Island before we move into our regular monthly program for all my groups.
With the speed of change (“Exponential” of “VUCA” are common terms being used) and the inevitable and dramatic impact of AI on mid sized businesses, the temptation is to continue to pack our program with technology speakers. But we have to go beyond this and look to where the true competitive advantage of businesses will reside. It is in the Human connection; we forget that and we will become commoditised, extinct, or probably both. Human connection as leaders, with customers, with employees and in our relationships at home.
My CE groups benefit at the start of the year with a dynamic duo - Rob Quinn and Cam McMillan talking about Creating Succession. Birgit Schelle, who has been working with several members on helping them implement the EOS model, shares with my KEY group the people element “Right People Right Seats”
In March we see the first of several interstate speakers with Ari Galper delivering his flagship session on Trust Based Selling.
We then see the return of the incomparable Matt Tice, our go to speaker on Business Strategy. We are also introducing a local speaker, Joe Azzopardi on "Leading Across the Generations".
Sean Flaherty who wowed our groups in 2025 with his energetic sessions on “The Momentum Framework”, returns with some new material focused on achieving business goals through “Trust, Loyalty, and Advocacy”. Sean is presenting this topic at the Vistage Executive Summit (all Queensland groups together).
Two of our local stars feature with Brad Jeavons introducing the five hats of the adaptive leader in "Leading Excellence - Adaptive Leadership" and Mark Puncher delivering his popular topic “Authentic Company Values”
I’m delighted to bring back the incomparable Duncan Fish for sessions on "The Human Edge: Leadership in the Age of AI" in which he will weave his previous topics of influence and empathy.
The year will have other speakers, and I am working on two exceptional partners retreats for the tail end of the year
