You are invited to join members of Vistage for their next speaker session, led by Bernard Desmidt on “Teaming Better Together”
Teaming Better Together
A culture of teamwork is an organisation’s most competitive advantage, it’s the only thing a competitor can’t copy. This workshop provides insight into the 5 disciplines that enable leadership teams to transition to become high performing, collaborative teams.
Many business teams experience some or many of the following:
1. There’s a lack of trust and team members avoid speaking their truth.
2. More is unsaid than said – they stay safe in silence.
3. More time is spent in unproductive and ineffective meetings which keeps them away from doing what is most important.
4. Team members operate in silos and focus on what they can control and influence and less on the collective goals.
5. The team operates more as a group of independent leaders, working in silos than working interdependently as a team.
6. That the team is an unsafe space to speak one’s truth and challenge each other’s thinking and ideas. It’s easy to stay safe in silence.
7. There is misalignment across the team in relation to the team’s purpose, way-of-working and collective performance goals.
Workshop structured in three parts:
