Our groups start 2026 at the stunning Stradbroke Island Beach Hotel, overlooking Cylinder and Home beach.
During the first week of February Vistage Groups CE 44, CE 35 and KEY 125 will regroup and reset for their leadership journey. Each group will spend 2 days sharing their goals, both personal and leadership in the context of 2026 and beyond.

Vistage Chair - Jon Lindsay
A veteran Chair of 17 years, Jon has always started the year with his groups with a bang. Always first on the agenda is members’ personal goals, especially when it comes to Balance of Life.
In the past we have explored habits with James Clear, Flywheels and Hedgehogs with Jim Collins, organisational health with Patrick Lencioni and every year Jon attempts to refine and refocus to meet the needs of business leaders.
Kokorazashi and the Exponential age
Jon leads goal setting and strategy workshops using the mindset of “Kokorazashi” - first - reflection, external scanning and introspection, then secondly this moves into focused execution for the next horizon.
Both stages benefit from deep conversations with other like-minded leaders, exploring, challenging and committing to objectives that stretch and grow.
2026 will see much more evidence that we are in an Exponential age. Most business leaders have built their success on “linear thinking”. The convergence of continued geopolitical uncertainty and Agentic AI creates enormous opportunities (as well as risks) for those leaders applying Kokorazashi to enable an Adaptive, Responsive and Empowering business model.

Day 1 - Personal reflection
The first day is sharing with group buddies where they spend their time, how they wish to shift that and the mindset, role and habit changes that will allow that.
We focus on concepts like “Happiness”, “Fulfilment”, “Purpose” recognising that all members are at different stages of a journey. We explore how the member and their business (or organisation) interact; the alignment between the member’s personal journey and the journey of the business.
Building on the work of Keith Abraham we discuss the GoalDriver ™ of each member; exploring how they wish to feel be the end of 2026
Day 2 - Objective setting and Leadership Action Planning
We start Day 2 by sharing high level objectives for member’s organisations. Building on their long-term objectives and high-level strategy, members share with buddies their three horizons and, from that, the priorities for Horizon 1. Buddies question and probe - allowing members to create greater clarity, raise the bar where needed and create even greater focus on Horizon 1.
The final stage is a “show and tell” using visual boards to ensure understanding and interaction with the whole group. The context for Horizon 1 (whether 3 months, a year or possible 18 months) is now clear and progress to achieve these goals will be raised with the group in subsequent meetings.
Vistage members are high-integrity business leaders from a diverse range of industries who meet monthly to support each other and address the challenges of leading in these increasingly uncertain times.
